S2 E18 — What is the Truth and How Can You Tell?

Today’s episode marks just under three weeks of running a new experiment, because the current COVID-19 pandemic surprised me.  Was it forecasted?  How long will it last?  What are the implications?

While working on “Ask Me Anything” or AMA for my Patreon platform it dawned on me that my Knowledge Path series — the 5 books should be back in demand.

Because it answers the question:

    • How you can take advantage of working remotely if your employer sees the light.
    • Pick the right place to live as an innie and a different community as an outie for happiness.

What was the spark that ignited the original “Best West Road Trips” the original digital magazine?

    • What did you expect?
    • As an introvert, what did you encounter?

There’s a story about an Internet service giving free access to Santa Monica families with a photo of the empty pier and the iconic Route 66 sign.

This can be the origin story for Fresh from the Labs. The Volume Three legacy story of the Howard family moving from the Carolinas to Tennessee to Missouri and then the story of road trips following Manifest Destiny wagon trains and the Mother Road to land at the Pacific Ocean and then following Pacific Coast Highway from Tip to Tip spawning 35 digital magazines along the way.

What are you writing about in the next book series?

    • Answering the question is it possible to discover which type of organization is right for you?
    • And, which stage of growth suits you better.
    • And, of course the flip sides of the question — which organizations and growth stages to avoid like the plague and why?  I may reach out to you to solicit your experiences.

And, answering the question about wildcards.

    • Accounting unknown disrupters that trigger catastrophes and shock to well laid plans.  Ripple-effects illustrating the power of scenarios and avoiding the seductively short-sided planning as usual — the best, worst and middle path.
    • What ifs, a better understanding of, the domino effects of, why, reverse engineering, imagining, curious about, surfacing insight, emerging, gauging the probability of any lessons learned and, more importantly, applied.
    • Monitoring the rippling-effects from the vantage point of an OK Boomer as dominoes and fear of dominoes falling while being stuck inside these four walls replicated throughout the extended family.

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

Pressure is one thing, but the fear, uncertainty and doubt surrounding the early and conflicting news about COVID-19 is quite another.  And, so about your TauBit of Wisdom, oh Patron Saint, how do you go about creating tranquility illusions?

“4”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980): When was the last time you felt no pressure? It’s been a while.  Go where you can create the illusion of tranquility.”   Aries

Hey you two comedians and inventor, your Holiday Tau resonates with me, because I almost always never consider the value proposition.

“5” Steve Carell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: Many need to have a confident feeling they’ll be getting their money back.  Use this concept to your advantage.” Leo

Will something like integrating how to choose the best possible place for remote work — Volume One with Volume Two manuscript about work what Chief Reinvention Officers do emphasizing finding the silver lining and advancing organizations during disruptive times qualify as a that direction?

“5”  Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61:There will be something to cut out, things to organize several things to align.  The magic comes from focusing in a particular direction.” Virgo

Your Holiday Tau reminds me of Stephen Colbert’s degree of truthiness — and how hard the president makes it for his followers to decipher the truth about this pandemic.  Thanks.

“5”  Steve Nash, 45:What is truth?  You’ll grapple with this today, as there are many ways to account for what happened; some of those ways include feeling your way through.”  Aquarius
