S1 E 142 — Wisdom Arrives by Putting Knowledge into Action

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

Hi and welcome to Friday’s Episode 142 in the first season of “My 1-Year Natural Experiment” on this 27th day of December in winter of 2019.

“5”  Steve Zahn, 51: “Find someone who has danced in this field before and knows where all the slippery slopes, rabbit holes and traps are.” Scorpio

Nearing the end of the year, gearing up for New Year’s Eve and resolutions.

I’ve got a lot to get smart about.  Finding answers. Are there awareness messages?  And interest messaging.  And liking messages? And desire messages? And trial, and repurchase and regular use messaging that can be crafted ahead of time?

I’ll need to set up groups in my Apple contacts which inserts an extra step from spread sheets to email. Next I’ll need to begin changing my LinkedIn profile just one section at a time through January.

And begin building Facebook awareness, interest and liking. With tiered levels set I can work on desire, trial, and repurchase (subscriptions and moving up tier levels) to active memberships.

Meanwhile returning to publishing the first two books, and following my bundling scheme.

Hi Steve, great timely TauBit of Wisdom.  I love how you worked rascally rabbits in.

“5”  Steve Zahn, 51: “Find someone who has danced in this field before and knows where all the slippery slopes, rabbit holes and traps are.” Scorpio

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

Haha, Steve.  I’m not buying what doesn’t kill you makes your stronger.  It makes you weaker.

“2”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980): While you don’t seek pain, you don’t run from it, either.  You learned long ago that the only way out is through.” Aries

I see where you are going W&W.  It may be too late for me here, especially since this is a 1-year experiment I’m running.

“4”  Steve Winwood, 71; Stevie Wonder, 69: Announcing your plan is dicey.  What if you don’t follow through?  Stay driven, Keep your intentions on the down low.”  Taurus

Some say being raised in the practices of Christian Science fits the description of a cult.  I pick and choose instead. “Mind over Matter” works in many cases, but not so much in others.  Wisdom arrives from putting knowledge into action.

“5”  Steve Smith, 30: Some have declared the power of thought immeasurable, while others downgrade it from the wisdom of just being.  What’s your take?” Gemini

Wait, how did your Holiday Tau know, Howey?  I swam competitively as a kid up until High School.  A better one might be don’t swim against the current.

“4”  Steve Howey, 42:In over your head?  That’s what those swimming lessons were for.  Don’t thrash. Make the moves that will get you too the surface.”  Cancer

Launch now?  That’s easier for two comedians and an inventor, than it is for me.  How about I make that my New Year’s resolution for January?

“4”  Steve Carell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: Everyone around wants you to succeed.  Even the ones who know they’ll be jealous are rooting for you nonetheless.  Launch now.” Leo

Very true, coach Kerr.  I might add waiting to accumulate more knowledge before changing your habits leads to procrastination.

“4”  Steve Kerr, 54:Changing your learning habits changes everything.  Having greater knowledge will allow you to be rid of a certain problem forever.” Libra

You were on such a roll, but sorry Steve I can’t claim your Holiday Tau today for my use.

“3”  Steve Aoki, 41: Some people don’t like it when others tell them more than they wanted to know, but for you it’s pure entertainment. They’ll spill their colorful pasts and secret intentions. Riveting!” Sagittarius

Yeah, yeah, yeah.  Sorry, like Aoki’s I’m not in the mood or the market for yours, Steve.

“2” Steve Harvey, 62:You are living a truly interesting life and have interesting things to talk about.  Go forward and converse.”  Capricorn
