It’s a long slow process. In the brain the way we introverts process experiences is along the Long Acetylcholine Pathway, which means an introvert has a really busy mind worrying about what’s going to happen and draws very strongly from their long-term memory bank.

Evidence
Hi and welcome to Saturday’s Episode 109 in the first season of ” My 1-Year Natural Experiment” on this 26th day of October in the fall of 2019.
While it is in fact “Day Three of Scorpio Time” if today was my birthday, which it is not, then I wouldn’t feel so guilty swiping this.
Today’s Holiday Birthday:
“It seems like a basic thing, but the simple act of breathing easier and more deliberately will open you to connection, relaxation and good fortune. A fun crew is featured through the holiday season. You’ll enjoy influencing one another. A game that takes months to master will bring you financial and personal reward.”
I guess I have to wait and see how everything works out, right?
What have I been working on today?
Basically, the extension of my dream begun in Oslo, Norway, of being interviewed for the WTF podcast by Marc Maron.
Here’s today’s draft of a segment of the interview:
Steve: So, each morning you’d have to get up 30 to 45 minutes earlier than you wanted to run from the warmth of your mobile home to your ice berg car, turn the engine on to get the heat going, directed to your windshield.
Marc: So the wipers could move?
Steve: And the rubber blades wouldn’t disintegrate.
Marc: OK got it.
Steve: Then when it was time to leave for your work you can take a credit card or a bonafide plastic scraper and finish the job of defrosting. Plus the interior of you car was nice and toasty.
Marc: So let me guess. You almost kill yourself by carbon monoxide poisoning?
Steve: No. Ha ha. It wasn’t parked in a garage. But one day I was still in my black robe and well-worn graying slippers. I quickly stepped to the side of door while trying not to step into melting snow puddles, slipped my key in to unlock it and …
Marc: And?
Steve: Broke it off in the lock. So far in I couldn’t see the piece wedged inside. I knew then and there I was so stupid for living where it gets so cold when I could live almost anywhere else I wanted. That’s when I began Mamas-and-Papas- ing it.
Marc: What? Oh, wait, “California Dreaming On Such a Winters Day.” Ha ha.
So Zahn’s Holiday Tau might resonate for Henry Winkler, but not so much as it stands for Emma the Baroness and me. If I stretch it to apply to my writing process, then it might work better.
“3” Steve Zahn, 51: “Ask what part of the situation you might flow more life to, and then do it and watch things start to shift.” Scorpio
Random ones that make me want change my sign.
Kerr’s Holiday Tau feels more relevant, because I’m literally rewriting an anecdote from my past and reliving it.
“5” Steve Kerr, 54: “Memories get rewritten each time they are revisited. Today, you’ll think of how you’d like to remember something as it’s actually occurring.” Libra
Here’s the scientific stuff I’ve researched about introverts like me. In the brain the way we process experiences is along the Long Acetylcholine Pathway, which means an introvert has a really busy mind worrying about what’s going to happen and draws very strongly from their long-term memory bank. So, G&G’s Holiday Tau fits pretty well today.
“5” Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61: “The spiritual and the scientific coexist nicely in your mental processes today.” Virgo
Of course two iconic musicians would celebrate tonight’s Holiday Tau. Hopefully, Emma the Baroness will join in after dark.
“4” Steve Winwood, 71; Stevie Wonder, 69; Stephen Colbert, 56: “We’re so far from the tribe and fire now that any dance seems like a special occasion. Tonight should be so fun that you’ll vow to make it happen more often.” Taurus
I’m afraid for all the rest of the Steves I’m issuing an apology for not wanting to steal their Holiday Tau. Let’s just leave it at that.
“2” Steve Smith, 30: “You may have given too much of the wrong thing because you didn’t know better. You’ll make adjustments to what you’re willing to give to get what you want, or to simply to stay in the game.” Gemini
“2” Steve Howey, 42: “It’s a strange feeling to learn that you misunderstood something and held the wrong belief for a long time, but such is life. Many never reassess what they know for accuracy. You’re ahead.” Cancer
“2” Steve Carell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: “You’re deliberate about testing boundaries. It comforts you to know the limits, though that won’t keep you from pushing past them.” Leo
