S1 E68 — Overcompensating for Disappointing Results?

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

About the only thing disappointing us, and Zahn and Winkler, is the absence of our Holiday Tau. So, with listing all the other Steves do I have to ask myself if I’m overcompensating — emphasizing quantity over quality?

What’s been going on?  Emma the Baroness and I have been roughing out an itinerary for our vacation to Norway, her family roots.  We’re running through 31 tasks on our timeline — the same ones that made Italy amazingly enjoyable for us.

Hi and welcome to Episode 68 in Season 1 of this 1-Year Experiment on July 28th.

About the only thing disappointing us, and Zahn and Winkle, is the absence of our Holiday Tau. So, with listing all the other Steves do I have to ask myself if I’m overcompensating — emphasizing quantity over quality?

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

Here’s my assessment.  Can we build a story that gestalts us into the whole being better than the parts?

Let’s try. Begin here, but fill it in yourself

“4”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980): “Few things will be more persuasive than a good story, especially if you leave room for the audience to fill in blanks.” Aries

Why? Because something is brewing …

“3”  Steve Winwood, 71; Stevie Wonder, 69; Stephen Colbert, 56: “There’s something special brewing, something worth getting in on now while it’s fresh and new.” Taurus

But, reward yourself …

“2”  Steve Smith, 30: “Today, holding out for what you really want will bring reward.” Gemini

However, don’t fall for the curse …

“3”  Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61: “To get everything you want is a curse that stunts growth, spoils personality and ruins potential.” Libra

Or waste time on empty questions …

“3”  Steve Carell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: “You sense the difference between this real force of life and the empty questions that are imposters not even worth answering.” Leo

Remain confident, but …

“2”  Steve Harvey, 62: “You can be confident about anything; you just need to learn the thing.” Capricorn

Turn off your internal chatter …

“4”  Steve Jobs, (1955 – 2011): “To stay present and in the moment, the moment must interest you more than your internal dialogue does.” Pisces

To enjoy your guided leap of knowledge.

“2”  Steve Aoki, 41: “Today will bring a guided leap of knowledge.” Sagittarius
