Day 36 of My 1-Year Experiment

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

Spring

May 2019

“5”  Steve Smith, 30:When you get too caught up in small details, it will set off alarms in your head that say you might be playing too small.  See the bigger picture.” Gemini

Sure, I’m a little disappointed.  There ain’t no Holiday Tau for Zahn, Winkler, Emma the Baroness and me today, 5/10/19.  Our last boffo day, was what, almost a week ago?  So, let’s return to our of life of crime.

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

Let’s see, what’s going on.  I feel a need to work on how well I write.  One of my bigger projects is a manuscript shaping up to be part memoir and part about the half life of wisdom and knowledge.

But, phrasing is what I’m working on today.  Truth be told, I’m a big fan of Dan Brown.  Some stuff I’ve lifted like, “Your window of opportunity is very small if you want …” or “… stole an anxious glance at his wristwatch.”

I see my de-plagerized phrasing as a return on effort (ROE) which hopefully will payoff sometime in my future.

“4”  Steve Carrell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: You don’t always do things for the money.  In fact, for you to get involved, there have to be at least two other good reasons beyond financial.” Leo

Smith’s Holiday Tau couldn’t be more descriptive as I “… cocked (my) head in surprise.”

“5”  Steve Smith, 30:When you get too caught up in small details, it will set off alarms in your head that say you might be playing too small.  See the bigger picture.” Gemini

Now, this just feels good. I’m guessing, “… how it might relate to a project I’m working on.”

“3”  Steve Winwood, 71; Stevie Wonder, 69:There are days to just meander, and days like today when meandering will fuel your desire to act.” Taurus

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

Spring

May 2019

“4”  Steve Zahn, 51: “Let no one rush you along.  It works out great when you relax and move at your own usual pace.” Scorpio

Here’s an intro I’ve been working on today, 5/9/19: What does an Idea Packager do?  That’s what I’m answering in Volume Two of the Knowledge Path Series.

The first volume answers the question, “If I can live and work anywhere in the world, then which community should I choose as the best fit for my inspiration, satisfaction and happiness?”

The second series answers the question, “If I could work for any company or type of organization either as an employee, consultant or independent contractor which type or stage of growth brings out the best and worst in me?” Given the choice, which should I pursue and which should I avoid like the plague?

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

I’m swiping the Holiday Tau from the rest of the Steve’s today since I’m struggling with writing of Volume Two of the Knowledge Path Series.

How do you balance these competing priorities?

“3”  Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61:When you have something good, you want to share it.  The other thing you need to do is protect it.” Virgo

Thanks G and G.  Without sacrificing time devoted to writing I believe I need to earn more time by being more efficient.

“4”  Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61: Having excellent organizational systems will make you more productive.  Ask yourself, ‘How can I do things faster, cheaper or simpler?’” Libra

Same to you Steve, as I progress towards the end of my editing process I definitely need to find the emotional chords I don’t necessarily feel as a thinker.

“4”  Steve Harvey, 62:At the end of the day, everyone recalls the parts that were joyful, scary, angry or epic.  Use this. Strike an emotional chord to create a desired impact and influence.” Capricorn

Here’s how I’m making Nash’s Holiday Tau my own.  By interpreting it as finding my voice to express my point of view as I write Volume Two of The Knowledge Path series.

“4”  Steve Nash, 45: Some of what you encounter is quite amazing.  There are always a few different ways to look at it.  Once you land on a way that works for you, hold steady to this point of view.” Aquarius

“3”  Steve Zahn, 51: “Poke around to get to the story behind the story, as jumping to conclusions will surely lead to error.” Scorpio

Should we pity the plight of retailers? That was the question addressed in an article on 5/5/19 about how Walmart took advantage of 4 trends other primary brick and mortar retailers missed or didn’t capitalize on.  Does that count?

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

As a Systematic-Professional, Idea Packager who favors autonomy over just about everything else, yup I understand …

“4”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980): As you do what’s right for you, you’ll probably be fully aware that it’s not what some people would have you do.” Aries

I’d twist Aoki’s Holiday Tau to emphasize I’ve put time and energy in to running enough scenarios to anticipate good and bad stuff coming our way to pivot into another direction.  At least I like to think so.

“5”  Steve Aoki, 41: You’re responsible and cautious enough to know when the situation requires a different approach.” Sagittarius

I had a 5-year run which was one of the most fun I had orchestrating cultural change doing what was right.  One of my co-conspirators called what we had going was a license to steal.  As long as it was moving the needle towards a “Climate for Innovation” we were appreciated.  But, when our senior executive sponsor couldn’t resist the temptations headhunters persistently dangled in front of him it was over.  What took five years to institutionalize fell apart in 6 months.

“4”  Steve Harvey, 62: The life you’ve lived has sometimes been big, other times small. Know which scale you’re dealing with.” Capricorn

To be honest, except from being a fan, I can’t tell you why I stole Nash’s Holiday Tau.

“2” Steve Nash, 45: The help will come from somewhere — maybe not the place that promised to give it.  But it’s coming.” Aquarius

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

Spring

May 2019

“5” Steve Zahn, 51: “Certain people shake your confidence while others bolster it. Tune in. There are excellent personal insights to be garnered here.” Scorpio

President Donald Trump is at war with the emoluments conflict of interest precedents, on 5/4/19.   Previous presidents frequently placed their investments into a blind trust and relinquished control over how those assets were managed to distance themselves from the appearance of bribery and other shady dealings.

Am I just the only one whose confidence has been shaken by his disregard of how he governs?  Almost two years ago I picked up “Fantasyland” by Kurt Anderson and categorized it in a folder I labeled “Filtered Beliefs”.  The folder includes “Fire and Fury,” “Farewell to Washington”, “After Trump,” “Bunk” and the “End of Faith.”

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

Phew. This kind of let’s me off the hook.  Thanks W and W for releasing your Holiday Tau into my care.

“4”  Steve Winwood, 71; Stevie Wonder, 69: Some of the things stressing you out do not deserve or require your attention.  Those items are entanglements with actionable items you do need to handle.” Taurus

I’m also going ahead with my creative swiping of Aoki’s, McQueen’s and Nash’s Holiday TauBits because they represent a theme.  Focus on today.

“4”  Steve Aoki, 41: Whatever your plan for yourself, stick to it today.  But what about tomorrow?” Sagittarius

Observe enough to identify what is and isn’t real.

“4”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980): Before you get into trying to make your mark on a situation, you want to observe carefully to learn what it actually is.” Aries

And, notice what’s coming just around the bend.

“4”  Steve Nash, 45: You’ve been happy with your choices, but now you’re starting to notice that there are new options on the horizon.” Aquarius

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

Spring

May 2019

“5”  Steve Zahn, 51: “Your skills are getting sharper in the way that most things do — through friction. It’s why you don’t bemoan the challenges.” Scorpio

On Saturday, 5/3/19 of this week I listed key points for pre-writing my next manuscript:

  1. Not only have I taught classes and advised Executive MBA students (uniquely with Healthcare Executive MBA students) and C-Suite Executives about this, but I’ve worked in, consulted to or advised leaders of many, if not all, stages of an organization.
  2. Senior HR and Corporate Education and Advisors laid the ground work for the initial scenarios.
  3. I’ve identified 16 types clustered in four major groups, Paradox-Morons, Emerging-Entrepreneurs, Sustaining Associates, and Systematic-Professionals.
  4. Over the past two decades of refinement I’ve been able to identify talent cultures where each of the 16 is most likely to flourish.
  5. Each of the 16 Talent Profiles roughly mirror the Myers Briggs Type Indicators (MBTI)
  6. As employers mature over their lifecycle I’ve identified which stage of growth would be a better fit and which would be a worse fit for your Talent Profile from: Start Up, to Emerging Growth, Rapid Growth, Sustained Growth, Maturity, Decline and Reinvention.

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

2”  Steve Nash, 45:After a time of being indecisive and not excited about your choice, suddenly something new drops in.  You want it.” Aquarius

Really?  That’s all you’ve got?

May 2019

“5”  Steve Zahn, 51: “Make a list of things you can control about the situation and, just to remind yourself, another list of things you can’t.” Scorpio

Welcome to Day 31 on Saturday, 5/2/19.  Got an email from LinkedIn saying I appeared in 59 searches this week.

So, which list should I put that on?

I’m guessing the second,

But, I should probably keep on sharing my articles on LinkedIn and  track my analytics.

It will give me feedback about how many out of my 1800 (+/-) followers aka potential audience follow their minor interests enough to click on “Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing and the Future of Work” which is in the works.

That I can’t control, right?

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

“5”  Steve Aoki, 41:You made your choice.  Or did you? It felt like a semiautomatic response to your environment motivated by basic human needs like survival, identity and belonging.” Sagittarius

Ok.  Aoki’s Holiday Tau as it applies to me makes me second guess my list making choices.  How much subconscious influence does survival, identity and belonging factor in? Are they something within my control or things that happen to me?

“5”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980): Your time is yours and among the most precious things you own.  You’ll deliberate before giving it away.” Aries

On my identity scale of from the highest degree of autonomy to it’s opposite the highest degree of affiliation I always seek independence.  So my time is definitely most precious to me.  Thanks McQueen for the theft — like in the Thomas Crown Affair — of your Holiday Tau.

“5”  Steve Carell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: Clutter is a representation of disorder and wonky alignment.  Cleaning it up will cause seemingly unrelated and magical good fortune.” Leo

Did I already mention my obsession with all things Leonardo da Vinci?  I fed Pinboard, my knowledge bank, with articles about him some seven months after Emma the Baroness and I vacated with our close friends Jay and Elle in Florence, Italy.

There’re articles like: his lost masterpieces, how he was ahead of his time, his mind, as a geologist, why he never finished the Mona Lisa, why his city design was centuries ahead of his time and all of the many, many theories about his life and output.

Does that count as clutter?  Before I posted them to my knowledge bank for later retrieval? As I interpret the Holiday Tau for Carell, Martin and the Woz I want to believe it does.

“5”  Steve Nash, 45: You can make sense of the illogical, find links between seemingly unrelated things and weave together disparate ideas.” Aquarius

Isn’t this what I’m all about as an idea packager?  Pick out from the noise a signal that connects with something else in a pattern overlooked by 95% of everyone else?

“5”  Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61: You’re starting to think of things in their broader context.  New insights come from big-picture thinking.” Virgo

That’s watcha got G and G?  Yup, I’ll steal your Holiday Tau as well.  Which means compared to what TauBit I’m legitimately entitled to, a mere “3” this completes the sweep of the highest rated.

Why I Stole Your Sign and the Mysteries of Your Life

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

My 1-Year Experiment

Consider this 30-day summary a pawn ticket to sketchy things I’ve learned from stealing your sign without doing the time. I feel so guilty about it that I’m willing to sell it back to you.

“5”  Steve Howey, 42:If you could go back in time and warn your younger self, what warning would you issue? What diversion would you suggest?” Cancer

Howey, how did you know?  I’m sketching out a memoir about lessons I’ve learned following “The Knowledge Path: Live. Love. Work. Play. Invest. Leave a Legacy.  It’s about making a life for yourself in your own way.

One of the many warnings is about sensing when one job or career is leading to a dead end.  And what to do about it.

But there’s so much more.  What about the collision with artificial intelligence just over the horizon?  Or the type of world our children and grand children will inherit?  Will it be inhabitable?

And, what is the half-life of wisdom?

How fast do the tried and true rules of thumb and lessons taught to us by our mothers and their mothers no longer make a difference today and in the near future?

Who knows best?  Which lessons stand the test of time? Especially in these ever accelerating times?

This is what animates me and why I’ve been reading and taking notes on autobiographies while tracking future trends likely to upend our sense of normalcy.

It’s an approach that addresses a life well-lived but leaves a legacy for others.

And, if I’m honest I couldn’t have done it if you weren’t so distracted with your own life that you left your Holiday Tau unguarded.

“5”  Steve Carell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: “The world has its tools for assessing one’s success, but they’re impersonal.  You get to choose the metrics by which you judge yourself.” Leo

My leap of faith into this 1-year project forced me to figure out some thingson the fly.

On Day 4  patterns emerged that just didn’t feel right.

Maybe I should back up a little.

My sign (and Emma the Baroness’ as well) is Scorpio because we were born between October 24th and November 22.

On those days, when I felt our horoscope, the Holiday Tau (named for its source, Holiday Mathis) just didn’t provide anything of value, I had a decision to make.

I still wanted to feel motivated, inspired, and at least a little bit wiser so I scanned through Holiday’s remaining 11 horoscopes and stole the ones that I could use. Thank you for your’s.

I’m not proud of the fact, but it is my life after all. Confessing about it up front helps set the highest standard of truthiness for the rest of this year. Think of it as a code of honor among thieves.

Neither of the Holiday Taus for the Steves I’ve noted so far today were meant for me and Emma the Baroness, and yet they illuminated my path ahead.

So, if our Holiday Tau sucked, I grabbed a few others which spoke to me.  And sometimes I kept ours, but included others too.

Are you with me so far?

Now back to Day 4.  I found myself grabbing half of the available Holiday Tau.  Is that too much?  What does it indicate about me?  What does that foretell about the outcome of this 1-year experiment?

By Day 10 another pattern emerged. Maybe none of the available Holiday Tau for the day rose to the challenge, but if you tried hard enough you could weave a theme that could be created by combining three or more. The sum is greater than the parts, ma would always say.

Was that kosher?  Is that the kind of precedent I wanted to set?

On Day 22 it finally dawned on me how brilliant the Holiday Tau for Carell, Martin and Wozniak from Day 4 actually was.  So brilliant, full disclosure, that I actually backtracked, before it was too late and the task became so burdensome, and scored the wise bits of  Holiday Tau — TauBits of Wisdom — and ranked each.

“5”  Steve Carell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: “The world has its tools for assessing one’s success, but they’re impersonal.  You get to choose the metrics by which you judge yourself.” Leo

Yesterday I wrote about how ‘disappointed’ I felt when we missed out again on the Holiday Tau.  But, I’m thinking about stealing 6 or 7 or more TauBits that could apply to me and ranking them in a range of value from ‘1’ (hardly worth the mention) to ‘5’ illustrating off-the-charts relevance. Is that diluting the value of this experiment? Is it too early to draw conclusions about the ideal number I track?  If it isn’t, maybe I could pay attention to just four or five Holiday Tau.

But, continuing on and not feeling content to leave well enough alone I recorded Smithy’s.

“5”  Steve Smith, 30: You’re struggling against what you want.  Maybe you’re worried about how others see you. Dig deeper for enlightenment.” Gemini

It stopped me in my tracks.  Smith’s TauBit of Wisdom nailed me.  Isn’t this whole thing a stupid waste of time, I thought. What should I do?  I am worried about how others see me.

What a difference a day makes!

On Day 23 I acknowledged that selecting too many Holiday Taus in one day says something about how desperate I must be to recover from yesterday’s downer message. Honestly Day 22 marked how volatile a day can be from a high to a low. Turn, turn, turn …

Yes, I don’t really need to steal anyone else’s Holiday Tau when I’ve received one of the highest TauBits already today.  And yes, I was complaining that too many TauBits might be too much to absorb.  But check these out.  This might be the single best day in the “Tau of Steves” history as we know it — well, so far during this one-year experiment.

I’m listing all six so you may steal them from me if they will brighten your day:

“5”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980): You’re fall of ideas, and they’re not just coming from your brain; your heart, stomach and body will generate wisdom worth acting on.” Aries

“5”  Steve Smith, 30:When you’re stuck, change any sort is improvement.  That will be enough to help you wiggle free from perceptive limits.” Gemini

“5”  Steve Howey, 42: Admirers will tell you that you should market yourself widely. As you further develop your talent, it will speak for itself.” Cancer

“5”  Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61: “If there’s one thing you can do to improve your life, business and relationships, it’s to see things from another person’s point of view.” Virgo

“5”  Steve Aoki, 41:You’ll use your talent for matching people with fortuitous opportunities.” Sagittarius

And, finally I stole Mr. Harvey’s Holiday Tau for its humor and profound insight.

“5”  Steve Harvey, 62: You are seldom more creative than you are just after being truly, deeply and profoundly bored.” Capricorn

Skipping ahead to Day 26 I continued feeling my low self-confidence and sinking self-esteem.

Today, I’m back to second guessing why I’m running this 1-year natural experiment.  Shouldn’t I just be noting my Holiday Tau — the one I share with Steve Zahn, Henry Winkler and Emma the Baroness?  Shouldn’t the TauBit knock my socks off?  Maybe, I’ll be coming back to the topic after the first 30 days.

And yet, look what happened:

“5”  Steve Zahn, 51: “Remember the time when the unexpected change shook up your perspective and then something truly positive came out of it? You’ll get more of the same.  Scorpio

Finally, finally, a Holiday Tau meant for Zahnny, the Fonz, Emma the Baroness and me!

Here’s what it triggered for me:

In my original field research about ‘work’ which I tested in workshops and advising sessions with hundreds of Executive MBA students I’ve been exploring disruptive change — as driven by a specific type of organization named ‘Paradoxy-Morons’ and at a specific stage of growth when companies feel either desperate enough to enter or innovative enough to bake it into their Organizational DNA — reinvention.

But wait, that’s not all.

“5”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980): “You can see patterns that others won’t notice.  To see such a thing emerge brings profound satisfaction.”  Aries

So over time I believe thinkers (introverts, ambiverts and extroverts) open their minds and viewpoints to see new knowledge created and patterns that signal solutions never tried before to address complex challenges from a different angle. Take the ‘why’ of curiosity and test it with the ‘what if’ of experimentation.

Over the last couple of days now at the end of first month of my 1-Year Natural Experiment, how did the Holiday Tau hold up?  Should this experiment be terminated or extended for one more month?

Even though our Holiday Tau is easy to dismiss as a commercial for Coca Cola — which I did at first, but now I’m reconsidering it as a short and sweet guiding principle.

“5”  Steve Zahn, 51: “Find the real thing. There will be no good substitutes.”Scorpio

It just seemed to sugary.  But then I reflected on what had so dominated my time on that day.

“Here I am working my way through my knowledge bank of articles saved and curated for my website, ‘Knowledge ATMs: A peak behind the scenes of self-publishing, crowdfunding and working for yourself,’ for which I’ve had to sift through an avalanche of what turned out to be bogus or at least iffy stuff on the Internet.  So I assembled a list of major topics that I need to get up to speed on:  Self-Publishing (duh); The Book Authoring Process Itself; Writing as a Living; The Business Side of Writing and Website Design.

“5”  Steve Howey, 42: You don’t have to be the best, brightest, most creative, quickest, coolest or anything else.  What you really need to be is finished with this deal so you can move on.  Cancer

Howey’s Holiday Tau pulled me back to reality from Zahnny’s Top of Sugar Mountain as a counterpoint so necessary for me to stay on task.  Focus, prioritize, finish.

And, finally on Day 30 even my Holiday Tau agreed with Howey’s from the previous day. Is that a sign?

“5”  Steve Zahn, 51: “When a project or goal seems stalled, it’s usually because there’s too much else going on.  Spend time prioritizing.” Scorpio

Is there an easy way to prioritize?  Thank you Mr. McQueen. Here are two topics I’ve been struggling to write about for a manuscript. This one is about the reinvention process at the intersection of a) different organization types and b) at a growth stage.”

“5”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980):You have much to invest — heart, time, money, effort, hopes and more.  Choose two and see what happens.” Aries

But, let’s leave the last TauBit of Wisdom — maybe the most accurate for me — to Greene and Guttenberg for what happens next after you prioritize and invest …

“5”  Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61: When you’re alone, your mind will race to ideas that are ahead of the times.” Libra

Day 30 of My 1-Year Experiment

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

Spring

April 2019

So somethings fall into place.  If I’ve done my math correctly I calculate that this marks a monthly milestone on 4/28/19 for my 1-year experiment of surfacing the Tau of Steves — something that even I don’t  know yet.

Ok, is it just me?  Or as I quickly scan down through the Holiday Tau for all the Steve’s I’ve assembled here today a pattern emerges.

Pattern recognition is what all we humans do.

It’s one of those evolutionary survival mechanisms in our brains.  I love connecting stuff together in patterns, so maybe I’m reading too much in, given I’ve reached a milestone and all.

“5”  Steve Zahn, 51: “When a project or goal seems stalled, it’s usually because there’s too much else going on.  Spend time prioritizing.” Scorpio

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

Is there an easy way to prioritize?  Thank you Mr. McQueen. Here are two topics I’ve been struggling to write about in a manuscript about what I field tested over the last few years while teaching and advising healthcare and other executive MBA students.  This one is about the reinvention process at the intersection of a) different organization types and b) as a specific growth stage.

“5”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980):You have much to invest — heart, time, money, effort, hopes and more.  Choose two and see what happens.” Aries

I’d commit a felony if I had to in order to steal G&G’s Holiday Tau. If I never find another TauBit which describes my curse that would be just fine.  For some reason I’m a sucker for a creative idea or an innovative product or a consumer trend, but I’m almost universally feel disappointed in how long it takes to catch on.  In my role coaching wannabe entrepreneurs I could visualize their world beating solution and encourage the hell out of them.

It’s taken years to factor in timing.  How long it takes for an idea to progress to an invention to an innovation and then ride the wave of emerging to rapid growth to become a force in the market place.  I imagine it and it’s like it exists.

“5”  Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61: When you’re alone, your mind will race to ideas that are ahead of the times.” Libra

And, maybe if I call the person in charge of this disruptive change the Chief Reinvention Officer (CRO) I can prioritize my writing time and effort. Thanks for letting me steal your Holiday Tau, Howey!

“4”  Steve Howey, 42:A lot depends on how you name a problem.  Stay curious and lighthearted.” Cancer

Thank you for your Holiday Tau Steve, for what I perceive is a cautionary tale.  To flesh out the story I’ve experienced advising CROs a few regrets surface about consulting — how you can only advise and motivate, but the doing is out of your hands.

So if the your pearls of wisdom bring fortune and fame they are claimed rightfully so by your client. If things don’t work out was it due to your ineptitude, their competence or their cultures immune system fighting back?  Action reviews help you improve and recognize landmines to avoid.

“3”  Steve Harvey, 62: You’ll be looking back. Regret is always an option, but why bother with it?” Capricorn

So given all that, maybe the most practical advice to live by is simply Nash’s Holiday Tau, right?

“4”  Steve Nash, 45: Pay attention to the habits you want to keep, and repeat them as often as possible.” Aquarius

Day 29 of My 1-Year Experiment

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

Spring

April 2019

4/27/19.  Towards the end of April I found other articles that mirrored what I’d been writing about in The Knowledge Path, like “Want to Work From Anywhere? Here’s How to Make it Happen.” The fun part is always the writing.

The hard part is all the building the infrastructure and the processes that have to be in place.  It seems like I keep running into technical website issues — like how do I turn off the comments form at the bottom of each blog.

One of my friends told me they were forced to turn theirs off because of all the climate-resistance believing trolls who wrote in all CAPS.

Every so often I received legitimate comments tied to what I write, but that’s, what 1% of the time?

“4”  Steve Zahn, 51:“Every master has to put the time in that it takes to be the masterful.  You’ll have fun and success this weekend.” Scorpio

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

Haha.  Wish that were true.  I’ll steal McQueen’s Holiday Tau and maybe tuck it away when I need a little motivation boost.

“3”  Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980): No need to downplay or sell your assets.  Your many gifts are already speaking for you today, loud and clear.” Aries

Oh good.  Doesn’t this kind of go with McQueen’s TauBit for the day? So, let’s call timeout for a second and confer with the refs.  If I choose to combine say McQueen’s with Smith’s, the two comedians and Apple founder and not leave Harvey’s Tau out — is that legal?  You know within the rules?  Right, so you’re saying I’m running the show and so far I haven’t ruled such an action was an infraction — and further there is a precedent for doing so — so do it.

“3”  Steve Smith, 30: There’s a spark of excitement, and you’re not sure yet where it’s coming from.  Be patient.” Gemini

Oh sure, now you tell me.  Can you help me?  Otherwise, I stuck reviewing articles in my Pinboard Knowledge Bank like, How to Make Money With Your Blog and Increase Engagement, What Is The Best Price For An Ebook/Kindle book – Updated , How to Write a Book and so on.

“4”  Steve Harvey, 62:You’ve something to sell, but you haven’t quite figured out how to position it yet. Seek advice.” Capricorn

Right.  This almost seems like how experiencing something terrible, like being stuck in an elevator on the 9th floor for 5 hours with three other strangers is such a bonding experience you friend each other on Facebook and get together from time to time to fondly recall your experience together.  Like you wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

Oh, it isn’t?

Wait.  I remember why I selected Carrell’s, Martin’s and Wozniak’s Holiday Tau now.  It’s pretty much how I faked it until I made it and lived to advise clients all about it.

“4”  Steve Carrell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: Soon you’ll be glad for the experiences you’ve had, the mistakes you’ve made, and all you’ve had to overcome to be able to help people.” Leo

Day 28 of My 1-Year Experiment

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

Spring

April 2019

4/26/19. Have I mentioned this before?  I tend to select Holiday Tau that is more practical in nature.  Maybe it’s one of those categories that will emerge over the course of the year.

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

I’ve gotten myself into a kind of rhythm of composing, revising, adding photos, adding a title and subtitle and finishing off the published piece with action steps you can follow.

In Knowledge Banking: Wealthy Choices. Healthy Lives I published “Flocking” all about “How Charles, Arthur And Dudley Find New Communities Across The West” highlighting Town and Rural areas that have population density scores under 40.

This category includes exurbs, towns, farming communities and a wide range of other rural areas.

Charles, Arthur and Dudley illustrate how to take four action steps for moving to the place of their dreams.

“4”  Steve Greene, 34; Steve Guttenberg, 61: You don’t have to worry about how you’re going to get to the end of this project.  What matters is how you’re going to get to the end of the next 10 minutes of it, and then the 10 minutes after that.  Keep chugging.” Libra
