S1 E90 — Day 90 of My 1-Year Natural Experiment

Yup, you could say I’m addicted  to my muse especially on a day like this.  Now that’s what I’m talking about.  Is that serendipity or synchronicity?  Who cares? The essence of Steve McQueen for all to see  in his Holiday Tau.  Could anything be better?

The Tau of Steves: What You Don’t Know Could Fill a Book

Welcome to Sunday’s Episode 90 in the first season of ” My 1-Year Experiment” on this 22nd day of September in the fall of 2019.

Having nothing better to do — that I really really should do, but don’t want to do — I ask my simple question “What would Leo da V do?” and wait for a flow to start with a drop.

Then a drip, drip, drip and … but this time he answered with a provocative question of his own.

Is there a “Tao of Steve”?  Don’t you remember that independent film, he whispered, that we see every few years on a movie channel about seduction and “coming of age?” Here’s the official review:

A wonderfully funny romantic movie whose plot follows the application of a pseudo-philosophical approach to seducing women.

Yes, the method combines a supposedly Taoist recipe of fictional ingredients taken by the character, Dex (not a Steve) from what he loves about Steve Austin and Steve McGarrett, TV characters in popular shows at the time, and embodied by Steve McQueen a famous actor — but is that all there is to it?

Is there really a Tao of Steve — something more shared by all Steves?  If there is, shouldn’t mothers know about it?  Especially expectant mothers and for that matter all first time parents like Jamie and Paul know it ahead of time? “Mad About You.”

Random ones that make me want change my sign.

Now that’s what I’m talking about.  The essence of Steve McQueen in his Holiday Tau.

If I’m asking myself “why” about this project, then WW&C’s Holiday Tau is as close to an answer as I can surface today.

“5”  Steve Winwood, 71; Stevie Wonder, 69; Stephen Colbert, 56: “The best teachers share knowledge that shines a light on possibilities and makes exploration possible.” Taurus

Well, I suppose so, but I’m focused on this passion project — unless near the end I encounter, but miss self-defeating behaviors raising their ugly heads.

“3”  Steve Smith, 30: “The first step in changing self-defeating behaviors is in realizing that this is indeed what they are.” Gemini

Have I already found my groove?  Thanks, CM&W for your Holiday Tau reminder.

“3”  Steve Carell, 57; Steve Martin, 74; Steve Wozniak, 69: “You’ve already found what works for you.  You won’t be afraid to experiment.” Leo

The new, hmm what is Aoki’s Holiday Tau all about and how does it apply to me?  Learning about Patreon”

“3”  Steve Aoki, 41: “You’ll be learning something new.  Start with the basics.” Sagittarius

As much as this one tantalizes me, I’m not getting it.  Feel free to enlighten or motivate yourself.

“3”  Steve Jobs, (1955 – 2011): “If you change, what will happen as a result? Surprises and unexpected delights are around the bench.” Pisces
